Cpl Steer has started the Air Cadets Qualified Aerospace Instructors Course (QAIC), this coveted course will allow Cpl Steer to teach various aerospace subjects to cadets across the wing. The course involves learning how to deliver lessons using Air Traffic Control and practical flight simulators as well as in aerodynamics, aviation studies and air power.
At the end of 7 training weekends and a challenging assessment week Cpl Steer will be awarded the rarely seen blue lanyard to wear on his uniform.
